Part of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, the Little Red Schoolhouse was opened in 1955 and takes its name from the one room school that was built in 1886 and converted into its first visitor center.
In 2010, a new visitor center was created, including over a dozen new habitats for fish, turtles, snakes, birds, and insects. Today close to a half million people visit the Nature Center each year. For this project, Aquamoon worked with Bluestone + Associates to create and install these animal habitats.
Trusted by large commercial retailers, museums, and large custom aquariums in private residences.
