Four Rivers Environmental Education Center’s mission echoes Aquamoon’s commitment to fostering environmental stewardship and reconnecting individuals with the natural world.
The visitor center features a 2,000-gallon aquarium with catfish, black crappie, smallmouth bass, bluegill, and walleye. This exhibit aims to spark curiosity, ignite a passion for conservation, and facilitate a deeper connection with local wildlife where the Des Plaines, DuPage, and Kankakee Rivers meet to form the Illinois River.
